Mineral systems of the Pacific Rim
Pacrim Conference 2019
On behalf of the organising committee, I am pleased to announce that the next event in the PACRIM Congress series will be held in Auckland in April 2019 in conjunction with the AusIMM New Zealand branch.
PACRIM 2019 follows a tradition of successful technically focused meetings which have become the premier AusIMM conference on the Pacific Rim, bringing together the most recent advances in academic research and geological understanding, regional surveys by government agencies and the industry’s latest discoveries and projects that showcase the importance of the Pacific Rim for global mineral wealth and investment. Its appeal extends far and wide to geologists, geophysicists, geochemists exploring in the Pacific Rim and people interested in the mineralisation processes of active tectonic margins as well as those developing the projects which follow discovery in these regions.
This call for papers seeks the submission of practical and applied case studies and keynote presentations via extended abstracts for presentation at the Congress under the following themes. The committee encourages collaborative works and urges young professionals to make submissions and participate in the extensive and technical networking opportunities this Congress will offer. The Congress will also offer a series of workshops, field trips and site tours creating a unique opportunity for researchers and minerals professionals to share their experiences on a variety of topics.
We look forward to welcoming you to Auckland in 2019!
